Web Design
No matter how big or small your business is, you need a website to have any chance of competing with your competition. This could be a database driven site to display your range of products or just a simple one page ‘brochure’ site to show your location & contact details.
We can sit down and discuss what your requirements are and what you’d like to achieve. Once I know what you want, I can get down to the business of designing a tailor made solution to meet your requirements and budget.
Something that looks great on paper, won’t necessarily translate into a great website, so don’t get a graphic designer to create your website. I have the experience in designing specifically for the web as well as the ability to then translate those designs across to a printed medium, such as business cards. That way, you’ll have consistency across all your mediums. Now, there’s no need to have your work distributed across multiple design agencies. I can look after it all.

Web Development
After you are happy with the design, we’ll then bring those creations to life. We can design and develop a website that’s just right for your company, whether it’s one page or one hundred.
I use a range of technologies to create a site that suites your needs. Primarily, we’ll use the WAMP Solution Stack (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) on top of xhtml/html/css (and sprinklings of JavaScript & AJAX). When needed though, I’ll also use ASP and MSSQL.
During the development stage and prior to ‘go-live’, I’ll make sure that I’ve tested your site across numerous platforms such as Windows and Mac OS, as well as with various browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari & Opera, etc. I also like to test our sites against the W3C Markup Validation Service as well as the W3C CSS Validation Service just to make sure that everything’s sweet!
Monie Studios also have extensive experience with website usability. So, not only will your site look great, it’ll be usable. There’s no point in having a fantastic looking website if people can’t find the right information on it. We’ll put into practice our usability and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques to make sure your site performs properly.
Website Maintenance
Maybe you’ve already got a website that you’re happy with. If that’s the case, I can also provide you with a website maintenance services. No matter whether you’d like to give your site a bit of a ‘freshen up’ or simply need a few pages updated with new content and imagery, Monie Studios can help.
There’s no need to hire expensive designers and developers when you only need the occasional update. I can provide my service on an ad-hoc basis or if you prefer, I can tailor a monthly “maintenance” package to suit your requirements and budget.
Logo & Identity Design
If you’re just starting up a business, then I can design that perfect logo to accompany your business name and help you stand out among your peers. A company’s brand defines who they are and what they stand for, and I can help put your words into imagery.
